Women Who Refuse to Die
"Women who refuse to die" is not a film about war as much as it is about those who managed to survive its horrors only to find themselves facing a more cruel and subtle death in their grievous loss of dearest and nearest who are mostly sons and husbands .. the loss of their freedom and most basic rights such as identity and dignity and were forced to live a life of depravation and poverty.
In this film, questions are raised and answered through the points of view of women who went through the direst straits of war but were able to survive its horrors by braving the obstacles and saying no to coercion. They claimed the right to freedom and dignified life for themselves and those who suffered like them.
